Nissan's GT-R bookends this issue across four decades. A 1999 R34 V-Spec headlines it at just over ¥40 million, while a 1971 Hakosuka GT-R and a 2011 R35 Black Edition mark the two ends of the bloodline.
Mazda's FD RX-7 turns up four times, and not with ordinary cars: two Spirit R Type As (the model's final and finest form), a Type RB, and a 500-only Type R Bathurst R. If you want a rotary sweet spot, this is the issue for it.
Honda is out in force as well. Both generations of Integra Type R are here, a Sunlight Yellow DC2 and a six-speed DC5, alongside a pair of S2000s (one wearing a Mugen hardtop) and an S660 for the kei crowd.
Rounding things out are a Z32 Fairlady Z Version R, a 180SX Type R, an S15 Silvia Spec R, two Kenmeri Skyline 2000GTs on period Solex-and-Hayashi spec, and a brace of Alto Works kei turbos. And one curveball: a beautifully built Toyota 2000GT replica, priced accordingly at ¥49.6 million.
