The star of this week's edition needs no introduction, but it deserves one anyway:

Listing #2 is a 1969 PGC10 Skyline GT-R in full circuit specification: race number 43 on the doors, PMCS livery, headlights replaced with blanking plates, a stripped two-seat interior with racing harness, and that legendary S20 inline-six breathing through velocity stacks and tubular headers. Only 832 PGC10 GT-Rs were ever built, and finding one prepared for competition (let alone road-registered with all modifications government-inspected) is the kind of thing that doesn't come around twice. The dealer is taking offers, not listing a price, which tells you everything you need to know.

The Hakosuka isn't alone in representing Skyline royalty this week. We have four classic Skylines in total, spanning 1969 to 1976: the GT-R, an HT 2000GT, a C110 2000 GT, and a Kenmeri 2000GT-X. It's a rare chance to see the full arc of the model's golden era in a single lineup. Rounding out the vintage end, there's a 1967 Honda S800 roadster, a 1973 Sprinter Trueno that predates the AE86 by over a decade, and a 1977 Fairlady Z.

The modern half of the lineup is equally compelling. Two FD3S RX-7s, a pair of Silvias, and a Celica GT-Four WRC edition hold down the '90s and 2000s, while a 3,000-kilometer S2000 and a Cresta Super Lucent with a Supra transmission swap add some welcome variety. Honda fans get a generational NSX showdown: a 1991 NA1 and a 2019 NC1 side by side. And closing things out, an R35 GT-R reminds us that the Skyline lineage is still alive and well, fifty years on from where this edition begins.
